Jimmy Cliff was a legendary Jamaican musician and a global spokesperson for peace, love, equality and social justice. He was a cultural force in the spreading of reggae music. Chuck Leavell had the good fortune to share the stage with the reggae pioneer at the LOCKN’ Festival in 2015 where they performed together with Widespread Panic. Dylan James has been an IROCKU member since he was 13. Along with the IROCKU video lessons Dylan James has been taking live lessons with IROCKU instructors Bruce Katz, Eric "Scorch" Scortia, Peter Keys and even Chuck. Over the years we've seen Dylan James progress from a talented young piano player into a seasoned pianist who can play anything from blues to boogie woogie to jazz. Everyone at IROCKU is extremely proud and blessed to be a part of Dylan James' piano education. Welcome Joe Alterman – Jazz, Rock, Blues, Pop and Hip Hop Piano Instructor
IROCKU is pleased to welcome Joe Alterman to the IROCKU team. Joe graduated from NYU with a BA and Masters in Jazz Piano. He has since performed at many world renowned venues including the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, Birdland and Blue Note alongside jazz greats Houston Person, Les McCann, Dick Gregory, Ramsey Lewis, among others.
